Tom Holland explained why nothing has been heard about a possible sequel to the film with his participation, Spider-Man: No Way Home. “The only thing I can say for now is that we are actively discussing a potential fourth part with my character,” the actor admitted during a press conference at the Critics Choice Association. “Whether we can find a way to honor him is another matter.” I don't care about Spider-Man. I'm very, very lucky that we're working on a franchise that gets better and more successful with every film. This is very rare and I want to protect his legacy. That’s why I don’t want to make another (film) just for the sake of doing it. It has to be worth it for the character's sake."

If an interesting story is developed and the film is given the green light, Holland wouldn't mind diving back into the role. “If we can find (the idea), I'd be a fool not to put on the suit again because I owe everything to Spider-Man. I love the character and the people I work with. So I would like to tell another story, but I repeat if we can find the right story.”

Holland played the role of Spider-Man in three “solo” films: “Spider-Man: Homecoming” (2017), “Spider-Man: Far From Home” (2019), “Spider-Man: No Way Home” (2021) .
