Godzilla and King Kong are back – and they're determined to fight to the finish. Last weekend, the trailer for Godzilla vs. Kong: A New Empire, the sequel to Godzilla vs. Kong (2021), was released.
According to the synopsis, A New Empire “follows an explosive monster showdown in an all-new cinematic adventure. They will confront a colossal, undisclosed threat that challenges their existence and our own." The film "will delve deeper into the history of these Titans, their origins, and the mysteries of Skull Island, while revealing the mythical rivalry that created these extraordinary creatures and forever bound them to humanity."
Rebecca Hall will reprise her role as explorer Iliene Andrews, first introduced in Godzilla vs. Kong. She was joined on set by Dan Stevens, Brian Tyler Henry and Kaylee Hottle. The film will be available in theaters from March 14, 2024.
