Netflix has released episode-by-episode information on the titles, cast and directors of the new horror series "Guillermo del Toro's Rarity Cabinet." Each series will consist of a stand-alone story, two of which del Toro will personally offer. In addition, each series will have a separate cast, writer and director. All of them are personally approved by del Toro.
It is not yet clear in what order the series will be released. But it is known that, for example, the episode "Dreams in the Witch's House" is based on the story of the same name by H.F. Lovecraft. It will be directed by Katherine Hardwicke, known for her work on the first film of the "Twilight" franchise. Rupert Grint (Harry Potter films), Ismael Cruz Cordova ("The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power"), D.J. Cowles ("Supernatural"), Nia Vardalos ("My Big Fat Greek Wedding") and others will play roles in it. Another episode based on another Lovecraft story, "Pikman's Model," will star Ben Barnes ("The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader"), Crispin Glover ("Alice in Wonderland") and Oriana Leeman ("The Whale"). The Graveyard Rats series will "retell" Henry Kuttner's work of the same name. It will be directed by Vincenzo Natali ("Hannibal") and starred David Hewlett ("Stargate: Atlantis").
The series "Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities" will be released on Netflix from October 25th to 28th. The producers decided to give a gift to fans of the genre of horror before the October 31st international holiday "fighting the devil" - Halloween.
