This spring, for the first time in almost ten years, Po, the world's most unusual kung fu master, will return to the big screen in the new part from DreamWorks Animation, Kung Fu Panda 4. After three deadly adventures and defeating world-class villains with unmatched courage and virtuoso martial arts skills, the Dragon Warrior is called by fate... to rest. More precisely, to become the spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace.
But there are two important problems. First, Poe knows as much about spiritual leadership as he does about the Paleo diet. And secondly, he needs to quickly find and train a new Dragon Warrior before he can take a high position. Moreover, an evil and powerful sorceress Chameleon has been spotted in the Valley - a lizard that can turn into any creature, large or small. And the Chameleon looks greedily at Poe's Staff of Wisdom. He is able to give the power to summon all the villains whom the main character sent to the spirit kingdom. Therefore, Po needs help to cope with these machinations, and here a cunning and witty thief named Zheng becomes indispensable.
Kung Fu Panda 4 was directed by Mike Mitchell (Trolls, Shrek Forever After) and Stephanie Stein (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power). The original 2008 animated film Kung Fu Panda became DreamWorks' highest-grossing film, earning more than $1.8 billion at the worldwide box office. The fourth part of the franchise will be released on March 7, 2024.
