Netflix has released footage from the third season of "Bridgerton"

New episodes will be released on the streaming service in May next year.

Following the success of the spin-off Queen Charlotte: The Bridgerton Story, Shonda Rhimes' original series is returning to screens. Its new third season will focus on Daphne and Colin and will be aired in two parts in May and June.

In the meantime, Netflix has given fans of the English Regency era a sneak peek into the production kitchen by sharing five stills from the upcoming episodes. In particular, you can see Kate and Anthony, a couple who appeared in the previous season.

The project received the name “Bridgertons” based on the book series by Julia Quinn, consisting of eight novels. Each book tells the story of one of the Bridgerton family members: Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), Benedict (Luke Thompson), Colin (Luke Newton), Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor), Eloise (Claudia Jessie), Francesca (Ruby Stokes/Hannah Dodd ), Gregory (Will Tilston) and Hyacinth (Florence Hunt).

The second season followed the plot of the second book, The Viscount Who Loved Me, which chronicled the enemies-to-lovers saga of Anthony and Kate Sharma (Simon Ashley). The first part of the third season of "Bridgerton" will be released on Netflix on May 16, the second part on June 13, 2024.
