The new season of "Garfield" has a star-studded cast

The last time the popular character from the Jim Davis comic book appeared on screens was in 2004, when Bill Murray voiced the character in the Peter Hewitt film.

Two years later there was a sequel called Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties.

Despite audience approval. The project received a lot of negative reviews from critics, and it was frozen.

And now they decided to breathe new life into the old story. Details of the new film has not yet been announced, but we already know that the cast it will be the most important.

Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Nicholas Holt and Cecily Strong have already confirmed their participation in the project.

In addition to them, the film will star Chris Pratt, who will voice the legendary cat, and Samuel L. Jackson, who will play the father of the main character.

The film is directed by Mark Dindall, who once directed "The Emperor's New Groove" and "Cats Don't Dance".
