Distribution of the movie "Mickey 17" with Robert Pattinson

Warner Bros. decided to give the creators of the picture more time to complete it.

The new film of the South Korean director, Oscar winner Pon Jun-ho "Mickey 17" will not be released in theaters in March this year. The reason - it takes time to finalize it. Instead of a story about a lone astronaut (Robert Pattinson) launched into space, the audience will see the vicissitudes of interaction between two monsters - "Godzilla and Kong: The New Empire". The film will appear on big screens on March 29th, not April 12th as planned.

The work of Pon Jun-ho on "Mickey 17" was greatly slowed down by the strike of Hollywood writers and actors, which began in the spring and lasted all summer and fall. Therefore, producers Warner Bros. decided to give the director more time to bring the picture to perfection. Her plot is based on the novel of the same name by Edward Ashton 2022 and is reminiscent of the previously released thriller "The Martian" (2015) and the TV series "Dark Matter" (2015-2017). Pattinson played a "disposable" space traveler sent to colonize an icy planet. In the process, the hero gets into a fight with the clone they are trying to replace him with. The premiere date for this intergalactic and psychological odyssey has not yet been named.
