Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling will play the main character's parents in the prequel film to the 2001 crime comedy Ocean's Eleven. High-class heist specialist Danny Ocean was then portrayed on screen by George Clooney, and later played this role in two more films in 2004 and 2007. In a conversation with Deadline, Robbie revealed details of the upcoming film.
“Well, this is still all in development. Information has appeared, but we still haven’t made anything public because it’s too early, to be honest. I don't know if this will be the next project. I don't think so yet. This is a fairly large project that needs to be put together, and there are logistics that we need to calculate,” she noted.
All that is known about the future film is that its action will take place in the 60s in Europe. The shoot will involve multiple locations, multiple costumes, and varied production designs. So it's no surprise that Robbie and her production company LuckyChap need time to prepare.
