The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live trailer is out

The spin-off cost a record $82 million to produce.

Viewers can check out the trailer of the TV series "The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live". It is an "offshoot" of the super successful "The Walking Dead" (2010-2022) and will tell about the reunion of the brave Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira). Although Rick originally served as the franchise's main character, Lincoln left "The Walking Dead" after the ninth season, returning only for a brief cameo at the end of the eleventh season. He is now the star of his own spin-off.

The plot of the franchise centers around a group of people trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world populated by zombies. According to the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, the budget for "Survivor" totaled a record $82 million, with $13.7 million per episode. Thus, more money was spent on the production than, for example, on the other "offshoot" series "The Walking Dead: Dead City" (2023) with $72 million.

AMC will start airing "The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live" on February 25th.
