Emilia Clarke was mocked during the Game of Thrones prequel premiere
The whole TV company had to apologize for one person's offensive words.
Actress Emilia Clarke played superbly in "Game of Thrones" and no one has ever questioned her talent and beauty.
But recently, during the premiere of the Game of Thrones prequel "House of the Dragon" in Sydney, the head of the Australian television company Foxtel, Patrick Delaney, ruined the whole party.
Either wishing to make a joke, or reflecting his vision of the character, the TV man said the following phrase to Emilia Clarke and her character of the Mother of Dragons: "When I first saw Game of Thrones, I immediately wanted to meet this character. I thought, 'What kind of show is this with a short, chubby girl that everybody's running around with?
The Aussie was clearly no comedian and his jokes were not understood, not by the filmmakers and not even by the local audience.
A barrage of criticism from fans of the actress and "Game of Thrones" even forced the network to make a public apology to Emilia Clarke.
