High fashion in occupied Paris: New Look trailer released

Set against the backdrop of the Nazi occupation of Paris during World War II, Ben Mendelsohn's Christian Dion struggles to find a way to move on in the new trailer for Apple TV+'s historical drama New Look.

The 10-episode project, which reunites Mendelsohn with Bloodline creator Todd A. Kessler, explores the twisted saga of how Dior, Coco Chanel (Juliette Binoche) and their contemporaries tried to survive the horrors of war and launch modern fashion. Kessler created, wrote, directed and produced A New Look.

Based on real events, the series was filmed in Paris. It also stars Maisie Williams, Emily Mortimer, John Malkovich and Glenn Close. The latter also reunited with Kessler after working on the crime series Heat. New Look is scheduled to premiere on Apple TV+ on February 14th, with new episodes releasing every Wednesday through April 3rd.
