Footage from the filming of Johnny Depp's film "Modi" has leaked online.
In this project, the 60-year-old actor decided to stand on the other side of the camera.
Johny Depp is back in the director's chair - and wearing his big hats - for the first time in a long time. Depp was spotted with the cast of the film Modi, judging by photos from the filming that leaked online. Al Pacino plays the supporting role of French art collector Maurice Gangnat. “Maudie” is Depp’s first film as a director since the 1997 drama “Brave,” and his first major project since winning his 2022 trial against Amber Heard.
According to a press release, his new painting follows Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani. “Events unfold over 48 hours in Paris during the First World War. Hiding from the police, Modi does not support the desire of his bohemian friends to end their careers and leave the city. Chaos reaches its climax when he meets a collector who could change his life."
Johnny regarded Al Pacino's consent to participate in the filming as a signal to action and immersion in a full-scale historical project. The role of Modigliani is played by Italian actor Riccardo Scamarcio. The premiere date has not yet been announced.
