The Flight Attendant series canceled after two seasons

The series “The Flight Attendant” marked a landing. The press service of the streaming service Max reported that the project with the leading actress and producer Kaley Cuoco was canceled after two seasons. The final episode was released in the spring of 2022.

Warner Bros. Digital Platform Guide Discovery considered producing a third season, but Cuoco decided not to return to work on the project. Based on the novel by Chris Bohjalian, The Flight Attendant follows flight attendant Cassie, who is drawn into the world of espionage when she wakes up after a flight in a New York hotel next to the corpse of a man.

It was initially planned that the series would be released in a mini format, but good ratings prompted Max to start developing a second season, in which Cassie was already working legally as a CIA agent. Cuoco received two Emmy nominations, and the project for the first season was awarded in the category “Best Comedy Series.”
