Steven Soderbergh to direct spy thriller Black Bag

Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender will star in Black Bag, an up-and-coming spy thriller to be directed by Steven Soderbergh. The script will be written by David Koepp.

Like many of Soderbergh's projects, the contents of The Black Bag are being kept top secret, but it is known that filming will begin in London this May.

Soderbergh previously worked with Blanchett on the detective drama The Good German (2006) and the action comedy Ocean's 8 (2018). And Fassbender starred with Stephen in the dramatic thriller “Knockout” (2012).
