Hollywood's favorite duo Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will work on another project. They will film a crime thriller for Netflix called Animals. Affleck will direct and Damon will play the lead role.

Script written by Connor McIntyre with review by Billy Ray. The story follows a mayoral candidate and his wife after their son is kidnapped. The couple must find a way to save the child while surrounded by enemies - political and otherwise. Filming will begin in March with the participation of the actors' production company Artists Equity.

Affleck and Damon rose to fame in their debut film Good Will Hunting (1997). In addition to playing the roles, they wrote the script, for which they eventually received an Oscar. Since then, they have collaborated on various projects more than once. These include filming in the fantastic comedy “Dogma” (1999), the historical drama “The Last Duel” (2021), the sports biopic “Air: The Big Leap” (2023), etc.
