"The Broken Hearts Gallery" star and Indian-born Australian actress Geraldine Viswanathan has joined Marvel Studios' extended family of superheroes. She will take part in the upcoming comic book movie "Thunderbolts", which is scheduled to premiere in 2025.

It is not yet known in what role Viswanathan will appear on screen, but it is known that she will replace Ayo Adebury in the project. The latter was unable to combine filming with her busy work schedule after recently winning Emmy and Golden Globe awards for the series Bear.

The details of the plot of “Thunderbolts”, of course, are kept secret for now. But the idea of the film is known - a team of anti-heroes according to Marvel will come together to do the “dirty” work that the Avengers cannot do. In addition to Viswanathan, the film will star Sebastian Stan, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko and others. The film will be directed by Jake Schreyer (“Rumble”) from a script by Eric Pearson (“Black Widow”).
