Brad Pitt is in talks with Quentin Tarantino about starring in a new film

Brad Pitt is ready to work with Quentin Tarantino again. He is working on his tenth film and, presumably, the last in his career - “Film Critic”. Before that, they made two films together, “Inglourious Basterds” (2009) and “Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood” (2019).

Details of the negotiations are being kept secret for now. It is known that the action of “Film Critic” will unfold in the 1970s in southern California. The plot will center on a sharp-tongued heroine who writes film reviews for major film publications. The prototype of the character was the New York critic Pauline Kael (1919-2001), who was considered the greatest expert of her time.

At the Cannes Film Festival in May, Tarantino told the crowd: “I can’t tell you guys much until you see the film. I can't wait to give you some of the characters' monologues right now, but I won't do that. Maybe if there were fewer video cameras. You just have to wait and see."
