Trailer for the South Korean sci-fi movie "Alienoid" is out
Choi Dong Hun's film will be released worldwide on August 26th.
Well Go USA Entertainment has released a video giving the first glimpse of the new South Korean film "Alienoid". It's hard to give a brief description of the plot. The action takes place in two time dimensions, the 14th and 21st centuries. "In our time, two magicians Gard and Thunder live on Earth, controlling alien prisoners placed in the human brain. One day a spaceship appears in the sky above Seoul and police detective Moon witnesses a strange sight...," reads the official synopsis.
As for the events of 600 years ago, two magicians are looking for the mystical Divine Blade, for which a huge reward is offered. However, they are not the only ones eager to get their hands on the sacred artifact, but all sorts of adventurers as well, until the proverbial spaceship that emits light reappears from the river.
The movie was directed by director Choi Dong-Hun who invited a number of big-name South Korean actors to take part in the production. They included Ryu Joon-yeol, Kim Woo-bin, Kim Tae-ri, Seo Ji-soop, Yeom Jong-ah, etc.
