HBO has released two "competing" trailers for the second season of House of

After watching the videos, viewers can choose which side to take when watching – Rainiers or Alicent.

The creators of House of the Dragon are asking viewers to take one side or the other in the second season: Rhaenyra's black faction or Alicent's green team? HBO has released two original trailers illustrating the second season. One of the videos focuses on Rhaenyr, Prince Daemon, and their efforts at Dragon Castle. The other centers on Alicent's party in King's Landing, father Otto and children, King Aegon and Prince Aemond. The series takes place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. The second season will officially mark the start of the Dance of the Dragons, the civil confrontation between the Targaryens.

In the wake of the Season 1 finale, in which Aemond kills Rhaenyra's son Lucerys and his dragon, a showdown is imminent in Westeros. The blacks and greens gather troops, dragons and new followers to face each other in a bloody, terrifying battle to the very end. In King's Landing, young King Aegon doubles down on his claim to the Iron Throne. However, his half-sister Rhaenyra considers him to be his rightful inheritance, inherited from their late father. The trailers also hint at a return to Winterfell, the snowy Stark castle ruled by Creegan Stark in the prequel.

The drama-fantasy series is based on the series of novels by George R.R. Martin's Fire and Blood, which details the history of House Targaryen. The first season followed Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy) in her fight to be named heir to King Viserys I (Paddy Considine) and the ensuing war of succession among the Targaryens.

They include Tom Taylor as Lord Creegan Stark, Clinton Liberty as Addam Velaryon, Jamie Kenna as Alfred Broom, Kieran Bew as Hugh the Hammer, Tom Bennett as Ulf and Vincent Regan as Rickard Thorne.

The first episode of the first season attracted almost 10 million viewers on television, making the series the most successful premiere in history. Ryan Condal is the creator, showrunner and executive producer. New episodes will be released on Max on June 16th.
