'I wanted to be famous again': Kevin Bacon talks about his new looks

Kevin Bacon has been in big movies since the late 70s, and became a movie star after working on the movie "Footloose" (1984). Since then, he has led a life of flaunting, getting both pros and cons from it. But, as it turned out from the actor's new interview with Vanity Fair, the positives for him are still more than the negatives. To plunge into the past and feel like a normal person he had to on the set of the comedy action movie "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F" (2024).

"I went to a makeup artist who specializes in creating special effects in appearance, consulted and asked to make me prosthetics for disguise," said Kevin, noting that even if he put on a hat and glue mustache, he will still be recognized. Grimmer, on the other hand, changed Bacon's teeth, nose and suggested that he wear glasses. Then the actor went to test the new image in one of the Los Angeles shopping centers. "Nobody recognized me. People were pushing me around and not being nice. No one said: 'I love you,' and I had to wait in line, I don't know, for coffee or something. And I, like, didn't have fun, to be honest. I wanted to be famous again", he noted with a laugh.
