Disney has announced the first post-2019 production of Mufasa: The Lion King.
According to some reports, the picture will be divided into two separate stories, in the first of which Mufasa's life will be heard from the familiar characters Rafiki, Timon and Pumbaa.
Then the first part of the story will move smoothly into the second, which will show the events that have already become a sequel.
The project will be filmed by "Moonlight" director Barry Jenkins, who has already promised "mind-blowing graphics and special effects. It is scheduled to premiere in 2024.
