Maria Bruna Moreira lives in Catalonia. She is 115 years and 323 days old.

Moreira is recognized as the oldest person on the planet after the death of the French nun Lucille Randon, better known as Sister Andre, on January 17 at the age of 118 years.

Maria Bruna Moreira moved from San Francisco to Spain with her family at the age of eight. For 22 years she has been living in the Santa Maria del Tura nursing home.
