Therefore, we can say that we are establishing diplomatic relations between our countries,” Yana Vaziri, regional manager of Jazeera Airways for Russia and the CIS countries, said during the presentation.

Kuwait, located in the Middle East, is one of the most developed countries in the world, offering a combination of modernity and old world charm. Passengers at Domodedovo Airport will have direct flights to Kuwait, as well as access to Jazeera's extensive network of more than 55 destinations in the Middle East, Central and South Asia, North Africa and Europe.

“We are delighted to be the first airline to launch a Kuwait-Moscow route in partnership with Moscow Domodedovo Airport. We are seeing strong demand for flights from Moscow for leisure as well as religious pilgrimages to Saudi Arabia. Kuwait is ideally placed to offer this connection. We are also We look forward to increasing frequency next year to meet demand on this route," said Bharatan Ravindran, vice president of sales at Jazeera Airways.

Jazeera Airways will operate flights from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Kuwait four times a week (Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Travel time will be 5 hours 5 minutes.

About the airline

Jazeera Airways was founded in 2004. She is based in Kuwait. It is the first non-state airline in the Middle East. In fact, the emergence of Jazeera Airways marked the end of the monopoly of another carrier in the Kuwait market - the state-owned national carrier Kuwait Airways.

The first flight took place on October 30, 2005, and from that moment the airline has successfully and steadily developed, but in its regional size. The changes started in 2017.

Currently, the airline's fleet has 19 aircraft, and the carrier plans to replenish it with Airbus A320neo and Airbus A321neo aircraft, which will allow the company to expand its route network in terms of flight range.

The airline has three fares for passengers. The concept of "low cost" assumes that the passenger decides for himself which fare to choose. If this is a business passenger, and he flies without baggage, the "light" fare suits him. And for travelers with children and large luggage, there is an "extra" option. This rate is very often used by students and pilgrims.

Additional services of the airline

Among the additional services, the airline offers travel with animals, unaccompanied minors, seat selection, priority service, on-board service, on-board entertainment and a very comfortable lounge in the terminal.

Traveling with animals

There are certain restrictions. As an Arab country, Kuwait is very fond of falcons. Therefore, there are no restrictions on falcons. The airline also accepts falcon chicks on board without restrictions.

Guide dogs that have the necessary vaccinations and relevant documents can be transported on board. There are no problems with such dogs during the flight.

Unaccompanied children

Transportation of children unaccompanied by adults is possible only on direct flights of the airline. For example, Moscow-Kuwait. If this is a transit flight, such as Moscow - Saudi Arabia, unaccompanied children cannot be transported.

Location selection

Whichever seat you choose, 168 seats on board is comfortable in any case. But for those who want even more comfort, you can choose the first rows (from 1 to 3 - the widest) or emergency (11-12).

Priority Service

For passengers in the terminal itself, a separate check-in counter, dedicated baggage claim and priority boarding are offered. This is an additional service that can be purchased when buying a ticket.
According to the low-cost model, meals can either be paid for when choosing a ticket, or on board. The airline's aircraft offer a wide range of cold and hot snacks.

Entertainment on board

For long flights, such as Moscow - Kuwait (five-hour flight), it is proposed to connect on your own phone (tablet or computer) to the internal network and you can watch movies, flight programs, you can order the Jazeera menu. Accordingly, the flight will be absolutely comfortable - this is very important for children.
