European seismologists have reported another earthquake that shook Turkey. The earthquake occurred in the central part of the republic at 16:59 UTC (19:59 Moscow time). Its magnitude was 5.6 points.
The epicenter of the tremors was located 16 kilometers west of Kayseri, a city with a population of over a million people. The source was located at a depth of 10 kilometers. There is no information about the destruction and victims, RIA Novosti reports.
Recall that on February 6, an earthquake struck Turkey, which became the largest natural disaster since 1939. Experts described it as "exceptional ground movements, unparalleled in the world." Since then, the republic has not ceased to shake. The number of victims is shocking.
