Landslide in Indonesia caused by heavy rains

On the Natuna Islands in Indonesia, a landslide following heavy rains killed 21 people and left at least 50 missing.

There are fears that the death toll could rise. Search and rescue operations continue in the region.

In recent days, seasonal rains and high tides have caused flooding and flooding in much of Indonesia.

Last November, a landslide triggered by a 5.6-magnitude earthquake in Chanjur, West Java, killed at least 335 people, nearly a third of whom were children.
