Russian film "Cheburashka" released in Estonia

The Ministry of Culture of the country saw no reason in this case to limit the repertory choice of cinema operators.

The Russian film "Cheburashka" was released in Estonian cinemas, although the Ministry of Culture had doubts about the advisability of showing it in the country, writes Delfi.

"Since the film does not carry explicit ideological messages, Apollo's desire to provide entertainment content for Russian-speaking children is understandable. The Ministry of Culture sees no reason to limit the repertory choice of cinema operators in this case," Carlo Funk, adviser for audiovisual and digital issues at the Ministry of Culture, told the portal.

It should be noted that the film-record holder of Russian distribution "Cheburashka" can already be viewed in the START online cinema.
