Finland will join NATO on 4 April
The date of entry of the new country into the North Atlantic Alliance was announced by Jens Stoltenberg.
On Tuesday, April 4, Finland will join the North Atlantic Alliance. Its flag will be raised at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
"It will be a historic week. Tomorrow we will raise the flag of Finland at the headquarters in Brussels and it will become a member of the alliance," NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said.
NATO Foreign Ministers will meet in Brussels on 4 and 5 April.
