The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on January 15, 2024
The award ceremony was postponed due to the ongoing writers' and actors' strike.
The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, which was postponed due to the ongoing writers' and actors' strike, have been rescheduled for a new date that places it directly in Hollywood's awards season.
On Thursday, Fox announced that the Emmys will air on January 15, 2024 from the Peacock Theater live from downtown Los Angeles - Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday.
The date means that the Primetime Emmy Awards will air a few weeks before the SAG Awards, an award for film and television actors. Many other commemorative events such as the Golden Globes, which have not been confirmed for a return to broadcast television, and the Critics Choice Awards also take place in January.
The ceremony will take place about four months later than originally planned.
