Racer Lewis Hamilton could play "Top Gun: Maverick" with Tom Cruise

The famous British racing driver Lewis Hamilton admitted that he could play a supporting role in the new season of "Top Gun: Maverick", which is now breaking all records of viewings and box office.

According to the athlete, the idea to play in the movie belongs to him personally, for which he even called Tom Cruise - the performer of the main role.

Actor later contacted Hamilton and offered to play one of the pilots.

But when all the agreements were reached and announced the terms of filming, Lewis realized that at the same time he is scheduled to participate in the championship of Formula 1.

In the end, Hamilton had to give up the role, which in fact he already had in his hands.
