Warner Bros. announced on its official page that the studio and Mission: Impossible actor Tom Cruise have entered into an agreement to create both original and franchise content.
CEOs of Warner Bros. Michael De Luca and Pam Abdi spoke about the partnership, saying that bringing Tom Cruise back to the company was part of their plan and a goal to be achieved by 2024 to continue positioning the studio.
"We are thrilled to be working with Tom, an absolute legend in the film industry. Our vision from day one has been to restore this iconic studio to the heights of its glory days. In fact, when we first met David Zaslav to discuss the possibility of joining the Warner Bros. Discovery team, he told us, "We're on a mission to get Warner Bros. back, and we have to get Tom Cruise back to Warner Bros!" the company admitted.
Tom Cruise noted that he is looking forward to making great films with the studio.
