Warner Bros. and Joan Rowling are working on a Harry Potter spin-off
This is reported in British newspapers, but the participants themselves have not yet confirmed the information.
Warner Bros. has made a deal with Joan Rowling to work on a new project based on the Harry Potter universe. It will be a television series based on her famous novels about the boy wizard, the Daily Mail and Mirror write.
The parties themselves are in no hurry to confirm or deny this information . But it is known that the writer wouldn't mind starting another franchise after working off "Harry Potter" and "Fantastic Creatures." And Warner Bros. and its new director, David Zaslav, are now actively looking for ways to optimize content and produce new TV and movie hits.
The studio recently refused to release the "Batgirl" comic book movie due to Zaslav's decision, resulting in a big loss.
