The doctor listed popular foods that are very harmful to health

Even many people's favorite curds and yogurts can harm their health. 

There is a popular opinion that "everything that goes into the mouth is good for you.", but in modern times it is not quite right to say so, as there are a huge number of food items that can cause harm to the body.

Mikhail Ginzburg, a dietitian and Doctor of Medicine, in an interview with the publication Ura.ru, listed the popular products that should be used with caution.

"You don't have to go far here. If we don't consider alcohol, the second most harmful food item consumed by the Russians is sugar and things containing sugar," he noted. In particular, fat- and sugar-containing pastries, desserts, chips and crackers are especially harmful products.

The health hazard can also be caused by curds and yoghurts, so beloved by many people. The reason is that not only sugar, but all kinds of fats, like palm oil, are added to them.

"It could very well pass for milk fat, because palm oil has no taste or smell of its own. But it is much more harmful than milk fat," explains the doctor.

The specialist does not recommend eating more than three times a week and red meat, as further increases the risk of intestinal cancer, heart and vascular problems.
