Qatar cancels PCR tests for foreign tourists as of November 1
Also, as of this date, Qatari citizens and tourists will no longer need the Ehteraz app to visit public places.
Qatari authorities have abolished mandatory PCR or rapid antigen tests for foreigners arriving in the country as of November 1. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of the Middle Eastern state.
The Ministry of Health specified that the abolition of tests is dictated by the decline in the number of cases of coronavirus worldwide. At the same time, a vaccination program is successfully continuing in Qatar.
Also, from November 1, residents and visitors to Qatar will no longer need the Ehteraz app to enter public places. They will only need the app to visit medical organizations.
