A real riddle: how to understand that a cat loves you

When we have a cat, we often wonder how she treats us. Here are eight ways a cat expresses its love.
"Does my cat love me?" - Many owners of felines have a similar question, since everyone knows that cats are quite independent and wayward pets. If she wants to pamper herself and attract attention, she will let you know about it, but if she wants to be alone, it is better not to pester her. Does this mean she loves you? Not at all. Simply put, it's her nature and the only thing you can do is respect her privacy. However, there are still unmistakable signs that always (or almost always) show that the cat considers you “its person.”
1. The cat purrs.
Although cats may purr for a variety of reasons, it is clear that if your cat purrs when she is around you, when you play with her or pet her, this sign indicates that she is feeling most relaxed with you. In addition, we are sure that the purring of your pet relaxes you too.

2. The cat licks you.
Cats' tongues are rough like sandpaper. However, if your cat licks you, it is because she wants to pamper you and groom you. From a human perspective, it's like going to a spa.
3. The cat follows you everywhere.
This kind of “chasing” can sometimes seem a little burdensome to someone, but if a cat does it, it’s because it wants to be with you as long as possible, and because it considers you “one of its people.”

4. The cat brings you "gifts".
By gifts we don't mean a precious ring, of course. "Gifts" from a cat are a caught mouse, an insect or something similar. For a cat, such a gift means a lot. When she leaves one of her recently captured victims at your feet, she wants to show you that you are part of her "pack" and she shares her catch with you. Instead of scolding her for this, accept her "gift" and praise her for it.
5. The cat lies down in front of you with its belly up.
Both dogs and cats lie down with their belly up only if they feel complete trust in us. This submissive body position is an unmistakable symbol of your cat's love for you. The fact is that the belly is one of the most vulnerable areas of an animal, and if he decides to show you this part of the body, he truly loves you and trusts you 100%.
6. Pipe tail.
If you see your cat approaching you, and at that very moment she raises her tail and slightly twists the tip, - bingo! - this means that she is calm with you and she loves you.

7. The cat sleeps with you.
Another gesture that will tell you if your cat loves and trusts you is if she is used to sleeping with you, next to you, or on you. Consider that for them, sleep is an act in which they open themselves up and become more vulnerable than ever. Therefore, if a cat decides to do this to you, it is because she feels secure with you and has complete confidence in you.

8. The cat crushes you with its paws.
This very curious gesture is thought to occur in kittens when they stimulate their mother's belly to get milk. If your cat "massages" you with her paws, of course, this does not mean that she is asking you for breast milk, it is simply a way of building a relationship and showing that she is comfortable with you. Although cats often do this, another reason is that they want to “mark territory”, since their paws release pheromones during a massage, and this is a way of expressing “this is mine.”
Cat affection is a real mystery. And if you have become “their own person” for a cat, it’s just a magical feeling!
