Johnny Depp will release his first music album

He will co-write it with renowned British guitarist Jeff Beck.

After his court victory, Johnny Depp plans to officially return to showbiz. With a new album, which he will record with the author of the hit "Hi Ho Silver Lining" Jeff Beck. The 58-year-old actor has already joined the rocker in a series of concerts taking place in the U.K., and even for that reason he missed the announcement of the verdict in a libel suit against his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard.

During a recent public appearance in Britain's Gateshead, Depp made no mention of the $15 million victory, but his pal Beck, according to the BBC, commented on the court ruling with the phrase, "What a result!" The rocker then shared Depp's plans, teasing viewers with the release of a new album and talking about their friendship. "I met this guy five years ago, and we never stopped laughing," the guitarist reported. "We actually made an album. I don't know how it happened. It's coming out in July."

In April, the friends had already released their first duet single, a cover of a John Lennon song, "Isolation." They call themselves "kindred musical souls."
