Kate Hudson fulfilled a dream of becoming a working singer with the release of her first single, "Talk About Love." The synthetic pop-rock anthem was helped by her longtime boyfriend, father of her daughter, musician Danny Fujikawa, and 4 Non Blondes lead singer-songwriter Linda Perry.

In a special press statement, Hudson said she would later release an entire album, and wanted the first single to be "something adorable and sexy and everything I believe in." Musically, Kate said the song combined rock, pop, dance and "even a little bit of alternative music, which I love," she explained.

"Talk About Love" is the first in the actress' musical career. Prior to that, she made her mark in movies, starring in such films as "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" (2003), "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery" (2022) and others. For her supporting role in the musical drama "Almost Famous" (2000), she was nominated for an Oscar. Kate is the daughter of famous actress Goldie Hawn and musician/actor Bill Hudson, who performed in the band The Hudson Brothers.
