Kate Middleton concerned about women's mental health

Prince William's wife, who has taken over some of the royal functions, appears more and more often in the media space.

Among other things, Kate Middleton has become the new patron of the Alliance for Maternal Mental Health and made a powerful statement about it.

As the Duchess of Cambridge explained, during a woman's pregnancy and after the baby is born, all the attention of doctors and society is focused on the physical health of mother and child.

But no less important is how women and children feel psychologically during the first years of their lives.

According to the Duchess, only superficial data show that one in five pregnant women suffers from perinatal mental illness and faces postpartum syndrome.

Kate Middleton expressed concern that society pays little attention to the topic and is determined to tackle it head on.

"By ensuring that the next generation of children thrives, we can build a stronger, healthier and more caring society," Kate summarized.
