Barcelona surpasses Bayern Munich in number of players at the 2022 World Cu
Seventeen blue garnet players have been nominated for the World Cup.
Barcelona has become the club with the largest representation in the teams participating in the World Cup in Qatar.
The applications include 17 players of the Catalan team.
Barcelona initially had 16 players for the 2022 World Cup, while Bayern had 17. However, Bayern and Senegal striker Sadio Mane was out due to injury, and blue garnet defender Alex Balde was added to the Spain national team.
16 players also represent Manchester City, 14 - Manchester United, 13 - Real Madrid.
