Germany head coach disappointed by mistakes in match against Japan

Hans-Dieter Flick, head coach of the German national football team, said that the team was disappointed with the defeat in the 1st round of the group stage of the World Cup from Japan (1:2).

"Japan was more effective in attacks and used their opportunities," Sky Sports quoted him as saying.

Flick noted that the Germans made unacceptable mistakes.

"We made individual mistakes, which in principle should not have been made," the coach stated.
