Gael Ondua does not intend to remove the Russian flag from the boots

Midfielder of the Cameroon national football team Gael Ondua does not intend to remove the Russian flag from his boots at the World Cup in Qatar.

Ondua is a citizen of Russia and Cameroon, a graduate of Lokomotiv Moscow and CSKA.

"I've been playing like this for 10 years, and they started taking pictures only now. Let them learn more about Russia, I will also be pleased," he is quoted by the "Championship".

According to Ondua, people from different countries wrote a lot of nasty things to him after learning about the flag, but this will not affect his decision in any way.

"I was taught everything in Russia, and let people write what they want," he concluded.
