Dustin Porter called a rematch with Michael Chandler pointless

The winner wants to move on.

Two lightweights, Michael Chandler and Dustin Poirier, fought at UFC 281, ending with a beautiful win for the latter.

After that, Poirier suggested that he could potentially get a title fight with division champion Islam Makhachev.

Against this backdrop, the American fighter is not considering a potential rematch with Chandler, considering it pointless.

"I beat him, that story is over and there's no point in going back to it. We have to move on. There's no need for a rematch. It's not out of the question that someday we'll cross paths again in the octagon, but right now fighting this guy again is not what I need at all," Poirier said.
