Daniel Cormier voiced a way to get Khabib Nurmagomedov back into the UFC

Recently, there have been many rumors about a possible bout between former UFC champion Charles Oliveira from Brazil and Russian martial artist Islam Makhachev.

Former UFC dual champion Daniel Cormier said that if such a fight does take place, Oliveira will have to win.

"If Oliveira beats Khabib's friend, apprentice and training partner, that might be the best way to get him back in the Octagon and go up against Charles," Cormier said.

According to him, at one time the head of UFC Daina White made a lot of efforts to get Khabib back to the promotion. But it was all to no avail.

"But what if it turns out to be enough to protect the honor of a friend to bring the champion back?", Cormier suggested.
