Russian Stanislav Cherchesov is not among the candidates for the post of head coach of the Polish national football team.
This was reported to RIA Novosti by the press officer of the team, Yakub Kvyatkovsky.
Earlier it became known that the Polish Football Union will not renew the contract expiring on December 31 with the current coach Czesław Mikhnevich.
Cherchesov worked in Poland in 2015-2016, where he won the national championship with Legia Warsaw.
The Polish national team reached the 1/8 finals of the World Cup in Qatar, where they lost to France.
