Australian featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski has become the strongest fighter in the world according to the UFC.
Middleweight title holder Brazilian fighter Alex Pereira is in second position.
The top three leaders of the outgoing year were closed by the Russian Islam Makhachev, who in October became the lightweight champion.
Also in the TOP 10 best fighters of the year were Weili Zhang, Leon Edwards, Marlon Vera, Aljamain Sterling, Jamal Hill, Jiri Prochazka and Roman Dolidze.
