Twenty-one wins in the professional ring, zero losses, multiple defense of the WBA bantamweight title - these are the statistics of Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol in general.
Two brilliant victories last season and recognition as the best boxer of the year by the WBA, ESPN, BWAA, The Ring and Match TV are the results of 2022.
As the manager of the boxer, Vadim Kornilov, explained, a few more years on the same level and Bivol can definitely be inscribed in golden letters in the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
Many experts in the West do not argue with that, because nowadays the name of Bivol can be heard all over the world.
So far, the only Russian, for the moment included in the International Boxing Hall of Fame, is the legendary Kostya Tszyu.
