Then why did Mexican Saul Alvarez challenge Bivol, who has one belt, for a fight last year and not Beterbiev with his three titles?
Journalists turned to Arthur with this question and rumors about his possible fight with Canelo.
"Why did Canelo choose Dmitry Bivol over me? Sincerely, don't know. I think you have to ask Canelo about that," the Russian boxer explained.
According to Beterbiev, rumors that he's going to fight Alvarez are not confirmed by anything yet.
"But if such a fight comes up, if he wishes to test me, I will definitely agree. Although I wouldn't dream of it," the athlete explained.
