Garcia-Davis title fight on the verge of collapse

So far, only verbal agreements have been reached between the parties.

WBC lightweight champion Ryan Garcia and regular WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis may not take place for the title of dual world lightweight boxing champion.

The fight has already been scheduled for April 15 in Las Vegas, and neither side has yet signed a contract.

According to Garcia's promoter, De La Hoya currently has only verbal agreements. And if the document is not signed in the coming days, the fight will have to be postponed, and, most likely, canceled.

Both boxers are real stars in their weight class. Davis has twenty-eight wins in his career, Garcia has twenty-two successful fights. Both have never left the ring defeated.
