Bivol named two places close to his heart where he would like to fight
The athlete's relatives live there.
During a recent press conference, WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol called himself a "figment of the Soviet Union" because his relatives lived in different republics of the former Soviet Union.
So it's not surprising that when asked about desired locations for the fight, Bivol cited two regions thousands of miles apart.
"I would like to hold fights in St. Petersburg and Kyrgyzstan to make a gift to my loved ones," the champion admitted.
At the same time, the athlete admits that now it is quite difficult, though not impossible, to hold an international fight in these regions.
