Jon Jones signs expensive UFC heavyweight contract

The MMA legend has eight fights ahead of him.

The legendary Jon Jones, whom UFC head Dana White considers the best fighter of all time, is now definitely resuming his career after a three-year break.

On March 5 at UFC 285, Jones will fight for the heavyweight championship belt against Cyril Gan.

In addition, it became known that the fighter signed a contract with the league for eight fights, which means that he will be in the ranks for several more years.

Details of the agreement were not disclosed, but the ex-light heavyweight champion's manager Richard Schaefer admitted that this is the most expensive contract in the history of the heavyweight division, and the second most important after Conor McGregor, without regard to weight categories.
