British fighter Pimblett to miss UFC London due to surgery
The athlete will not be able to perform in front of his audience.
The previously announced bout of Briton Paddy Pimblett at UFC 286 in London on March 18 will not take place.
According to the team of the British lightweight, his ankle injury was aggravated, which he received in a previous fight with American Jared Gordon.
Now Pimblett will have a serious operation, after which he will be contraindicated to train for at least a couple of months.
In that meeting with Gordon, the Briton, despite the injury, managed to strangle the opponent in the second round.
